How To Choose The Right Part Time Maid?

Want a clean and tidy home or office but lack time to bring the space in order yourself? A part-time maid is always there for you to lend a helping hand. By hiring a maid, you have more time to spend with your family and do your job tasks. But how to choose the right part-time maid?

Here are some things you have to look for when selecting the best maid for your house or office.

1. Skill

When choosing a part-time maid, you want her to have enough skill in cleaning up all kinds of areas. You want her to have much experience and be trained to provide the highest-quality service. You also want her to provide a large spectrum of chores.

She must be ready to perform all kinds of tasks, from ironing and laundry to window and grout cleaning. But how you can check her skill level? Well, you can easily ask for her portfolio or any other credentials, like a training certificate or license.

Also, you can visit the website of the maid company and check for their references. Usually, reviews tell a lot about the quality of the maid’s service. By reading some references, you can create an image about the maid company. You can make up your mind about whether they deserve a try or not.

2. Reputation

Try to go with a reputed company that is operational for a long time. This means that they have enough experience to provide the highest level of cleanliness and a mindful customer service.

Take your time to browse through the references to evaluate the reputation of the company among customers. If the positive reviews dominate, it is a sign the service is reliable and is worth a try.

Referrals from friends and relatives also help to shape an image of the company’s trustworthiness.

3. Quality of equipment

Skill always goes hand in hand with good equipment. If the maid misses out on high-quality and powerful equipment, her skill hardly helps her to perform well. Well, she will clean the house to the sparkling condition, but she will do it slower.

You want the space to be ready in the shortest period of time possible. The fastest they finish, the faster you will get down to your business and enjoy your clean house or office. If the maid uses weak vacuum cleaners or less effective cleaning products, she might need more time for job completion.

Things get much better when powerful vacuums and high-quality products step in the game. That’s why you are good to search for information about the equipment the maid company uses.

It may help you to understand their rhythm of work and predict when the house will get completely clean.

4. Availability for same-day service

Sometimes you need to get your house or office tidy as fast as possible. Whether it is an important business meeting or an unexpected visit of friends, you have to prepare the space in no time.

In this case, a part-time maid can help, but you have to check their availability for same-time service. Not all maids on the market provide express cleaning. That’s why you have to do your research and identify candidates that offer this type of service.

5. Affordable price

Price plays an important role in making up your mind when looking for a maid. You want her to offer a good balance of quality and price. Fortunately, with the intense competition on the Singapore cleaning market, you may be lucky to find pleasingly affordable services.

All you have to do is to dedicate your time to the thorough research of the vast market. Avoid picking the first company that comes on your way. There is a high chance you miss out on a much lower price out there. That’s why, inspect the market, compare prices and come up with the best option.
